Turban as a headgear,

sunny 33 °C

HI All,

This is my first post in this blog.

Last Jan i went to Hampi India for a three days trip. The weather was dry, hott and arid. My first day i wore a cap and my friend was wearing sunglasses. He got a heatstroke after he returned from the outing of the first day. Mind it a strong sun at your head is quite capable to ruin your entire trip.Even though i was OK but the cap was insufficient for me too. It was turning hott. So next day i tried to make a turban from one of my cotton towels. The towel was absorbing more heatthan i expected, keeping arid heat away from my head. I realised why most of traditional India used to and still uses wears a turban. Its a all about practility.

Also i could use it as a cover or towel as and when i needed it. i found this not only useful but also a lot more practical to use. It can be used as a towel, a piece of clothes to hold extra stuff, A Stole in case you feel cold, a scarf. something to avoid your hairs going dirty.

I am looking forward to figure out a size and a style which can be used in all trips all by myself.
